History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: He is a pot bellied southern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He prefers to wear blue pants and tee shirts. His hair is long and red with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: Bertram hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Don's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To be a Guard again; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: Born in the west to a Cook, Anselm learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Anselm was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Recently the stress of being a Cook has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and regain custody of his daughter

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bertram is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
