History: Gerard was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of giants

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gunter was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Gunter reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Born in the north to a Ploughman, Charles learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ploughman work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ploughman work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Ploughman job and began his own company from there.
