Bertram Palomarez, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. His fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people.
Flaws: Cynical, Racist, Antagonistic. Bonds: Attractive, Mentor. Occupation: Baker
Voice: Timid voice

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.
History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. Roland Barlow, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears a white vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His brown leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his white boots flare out at the collars. His hair is silver and curly. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roland grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roland. Guy Asheton, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears tattered old clothes. He carries with him a set of daggers, each one with a jet on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has a very tight haircut. His face is scarred and worn.
Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.
History: Guy was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Guy alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
