Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gerald grew up listening to his father's many stories. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

History: Peter lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Peter was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.
