He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ralf fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ernest was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared.
