History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Diggory was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Engraver. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. One day when Roland was young, his father was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his father dropped to the ground dead. His father had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Roland was heart-stricken from the event, and his mother started working long hours to provde for them. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: Born to a Brewer, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Butcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
