Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bertram grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bertram. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Description: He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. He carries with him a set of sickles on his belt, each one with a aquamarine on the hilt. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes goblins are coming to abduct people. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears skinny pants and wears a black and brown robe with the hood down. His moppish blonde hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Flaws: Ugly, Insane, Shy, Antagonistic, Mundane. Occupation: Blacksmith

Description: He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. His hair is chestnut and curly. His half smiles and brown eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with wide-brimmed hat. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His violet eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. After a long history of fighting, Charles and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to work out more often
