History: Bertram hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Gilbert took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up rapier and armor he uses now. He now mingles about in high society.

He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
