History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Bernard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Bernard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born in the south. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
