Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Born in the south to a Spice Merchant, Bertram learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Bertram alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He struck the Spice Merchant job and began his own company from there.

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a tan shirt with thin black vertical stripes and blue pants. He keeps his silver hair in a flapper bob. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Adam speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was raised in a island tribe. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new brewer responsibilities is difficult

Description: 6'4" and muscular, this southern man wears a simple green robe with violet stripes complete with hood. His white hair is long and unkept. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He tends to wear a blue poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His golden hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

Description: He is a husky man, who very much looks the part of a Bowyer. His feathered hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has set out to sabotage the competition.
