History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Chad fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Charles was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Charles's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He tends to his Stylist job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
