History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Barber for hire.

Personality: He is a Barber first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Gerald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and someone believes him a fraud

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Adelard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to prove his worth to the world
