Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Nicholas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by goblins. Nicholas was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the goblins.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is greedy

History: Hubert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up work as a Farmer and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Personality: Nicholas wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Nicholas is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born into a rich family. A gifted student he started as a Servant, but he got bored and became a Sailor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
