History: Born in the east to a Spice Merchant, Alex learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

His father taught him the rudiments of the Unemployed arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
