Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. A true patriot, Charles would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Shoemaker for hire.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and an old rival family wants him found

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
