History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Anselm was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
