He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A freak accident while working with his Mayor father left him crippled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
