History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a Detective first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gifted student he started as a Laborer, but he got bored and became a Detective. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs. His silver hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes are blue and beady.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing white cape and mantle trimmed with soft tan waves gently in the breeze. His golden hair and beard is wavy and long. His skin is flawless and his brown eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Gerald was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to end his boredom
