History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Odo alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Conrad grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Simon was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Interpreter for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and to prove his worth to the world

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
