Description: A middle-aged man, he dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head, and is pretty ugly. His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Simon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He likes to wear ponchos typically of a light yellow in addition to tight pants. His hair is red and curly. His eyes are green and catlike.
Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.
History: He was raised in a plains tribe. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Being a Armorer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and to reunite with his old friends

History: He got into the Interpreter business at a young age. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Gifted from a young age, Theobald studied abroad. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
