His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, William is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. History: Born in the east to a Courier, Simon learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
