History: He was raised in a forest tribe. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Server. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Ernest alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
