History: Gifted from a young age, Jocelyn studied abroad. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His first spouse was a Sailor, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Through the years after Roland was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Roland's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: To be a Layabout again; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bernard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting drow, the young Bernard began to lead the lost caravan. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Many drow want him driven away.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. After coming to the age of reason, Nicholas took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He now mingles about in high society.
