History: Patrick was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Bertram isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born in the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Slave Trader born in the past three hundred years. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Painter profession.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Slave Trader for hire.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he wants revenge against giants
