Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bather but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born in the east. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: A 5'4" northern man, he wears dull green sweaters, loose tan pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed nunchaku, just in case. His long white hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His ears are large.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born in a small island village. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and wishes to resurrect an old love

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Ralf lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he is wracked by social anxiety
