Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. The war was a terrible time for him, and John does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. He is an amazing painter.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and to settle down with his crush

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he would like to get married and retire

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: He got into the Gardener business at a young age. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and many giants want him driven away

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Richard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Tanner. He has achieved small success as a Tanner.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
