History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His first spouse was a Mercenary, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Mercenary they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Dilettante, and he later adopted a second daughter.

His father taught him the rudiments of the Healer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 3 years.

Through the years after Chad was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Chad's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Dyer for the past few years.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Gunter's homeland. Gunter decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gunter fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
