History: Charles was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Crown-heir for hire.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Anthony lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greataxe.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. The war was a terrible time for him, and Roland does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
