Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. Reynard enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Reynard was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Navigator. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Balimaar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

History: Thomas was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
