History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Everard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and someone believes him a fraud
