History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Sculptor mother left him crippled. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was born in the west. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

His hair is long and blonde with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: He dresses in pastel turtlenecks beneath a red coat with pastel slacks. He is portly but not overly obese. His brown hair and beard is wavy and long. His ears are large.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: William lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Hunter was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.
