Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears rags and sports a simple walking cane. His chestnut hair is still thick. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He struck the Layabout job and began his own company from there.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Chad grew up listening to his father's many stories. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Description: This younger middle-aged man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his greatsword with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt, and a wedding ring on his right hand. His black hair, when down, is lengthy. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Adelard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to reunite with his absent mother

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
