History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Through the years after Arnold was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Arnold's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He got into the Fortune-teller business at a young age. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees.
