History: Tim was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Marshal, but he was a colossal failure. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gomory grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Balimaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When Balimaar reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his painting with anyone who is interested.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Spy arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Servant they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Spy, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and to reunite with his absent father
