History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born into a rich family. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 6'0" and is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his violet eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

Description: A 6'1" western man, he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing brown cape and mantle trimmed with soft yellow waves gently in the breeze. His red hair is matted, messy, and big. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady amber eyes.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Engraver born in the past three hundred years. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Engraver responsibilities is difficult; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people
