He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 11 years.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Aldous lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He now mingles about in high society.
