His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he seems to be bored by most things

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small white clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.
