Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ernest grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nicholas grew up listening to his father's many stories. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born in the west to a Spice Merchant, Dean learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. He has achieved small success as a Spice Merchant.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mortician hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Mortician for the past few years.
