Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Balimaar embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Balimaar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Odo was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Marshal responsibilities is difficult.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
