History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Gilbert has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Through the years after Peter was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Peter's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
