Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ralf does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ralf fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Gifted from a young age, Shane studied abroad. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

History: He was born in the south. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Human compassion; and retire the richest man in the south

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Gifted from a young age, Diggory studied abroad. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and he desires power and/or immortality
