Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bernard does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Bernard and his spouse have recently divorced.

His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Architect profession.

History: Hubert was born with his father's beautiful face. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He struck the Shoemaker job and began his own company from there.

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heward grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). Being a Butcher kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: This northern man wears a blue top hat and blue clothes. His clothes are grease stained in places. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is an amazing painter.

History: Kyle was raised in a hard working conservative environment. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by giants. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and revenge
