Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His silver hair is singed and shortened. He has brown eyes and a pastel hat with a grey feather.
Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and he's looking for his big break

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears baggy white pantaloons and a grey scarf. His blonde hair, when down, is lengthy. His green eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Jocelyn liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he's looking for his big break

Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His blue eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: Gerald speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He invites people to come help in his community garden.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. After a long history of fighting, Gerald and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

Description: He is dressed in earthy colors with a green and tan handkerchief worn on his right side. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his dagger, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are a pleasant hazel.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Roland was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Doctor they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bellfounder, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and expand his business

Description: He is typically in his Bookbinder uniform. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His chestnut hair is cut short. His eyes are a pleasant green.
Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theobald grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theobald. He now owns his own business.
Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
