History: Cory was born the youngest of three triplets. He worked as a nervous Sailor and found it very stressful. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears a black collared shirt and pastel pants. He accessorizes with a green scarf around the waist and a strap diagonally across his shirt. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His golden hair and beard is wavy and long. His violet eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Miner born in the past three hundred years. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and many dire rats want him driven away
