Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shane does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Navigator for hire.

Description: He is a physically imposing dark-skinned man. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His hair is auburn, silky, and of moderate length. This violet eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Norman lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was taken from his home at a very young age. Being a Servant kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and balancing his hectic life and new unemployed responsibilities is difficult
