History: He is a Deep Scion in disguise. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it
