To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Alexandre. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: Gifted from a young age, Frederick studied abroad. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Farmer but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

History: Odo was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Detective hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and wants to raise his children well
