History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is greedy

History: Robert was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Robert was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Animal Trainer. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
