Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gilbert does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gilbert was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Gilbert was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears an entirely white suit with brown socks and a vest with buckled shoes. Sporting a red mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Jocelyn took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shortbow and armor he uses now. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He wears a black coat over a pastel low-cut shirt, and a wide-brimmed hat upon his head. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His red hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He uses divination through singing.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Description: This northern man dresses like a well dressed Guard does. His clothes are grease stained in places. He sports a long white beard, and similarly colored long hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady violet eyes.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born in the north to a Guard, Simon learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and balancing his hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is content
