History: Hugh was born with his mother's beautiful face. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Hugh began to lead the lost caravan. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Detective. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
